Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) is a private theological institution affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, established in 1950. Located in Wake Forest, North Carolina, SEBTS emphasizes equipping students for global gospel ministry, earning the nickname "Great Commission seminary." The seminary began classes in 1951 and later acquired the campus of Wake Forest College.
