Overview

Pepperdine University is a private Christian research university located in Malibu, California. Established in 1937 by George Pepperdine, the university is committed to academic excellence and Christian values. Originally founded as George Pepperdine College, it transitioned to university status in 1971 and now enrolls approximately 7,600 students across five colleges and schools.

The main campus spans 830 acres along the Pacific Coast, offering a diverse range of academic programs, including undergraduate liberal arts at Seaver College, law degrees through the School of Law, business studies at the Graziadio Business School, and advanced education and psychology programs from the Graduate School of Education and Psychology. The School of Public Policy also provides specialized training in public affairs. Pepperdine has graduate campuses throughout Southern California and international locations in Germany, England, Italy, and Argentina.
