Founded in 1951, McDonough Telephone Cooperative was established to provide rural west central Illinois families with reliable telephone service. Over the years, the cooperative has grown from 500 initial members to more than 2,600 members, all while maintaining its commitment to offering state-of-the-art telecommunications services to anyone in its membership. The cooperative believes that everyone deserves access to reliable telephone and internet services.

Its commitment to members extends beyond offering high-quality services at affordable prices. The organization and its employees actively support the communities it serves—donating time, money, and services to encourage growth and prosperity.
