Basin Electric Power Cooperative is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative based in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 1961, it provides wholesale electric power primarily to rural electric cooperatives across nine states, including Colorado, Iowa, and Wyoming.
