Associated Food Stores (AFS) is a retailers' cooperative and regional wholesale distributor based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1940 by Donald P. Lloyd and 34 independent grocers, AFS aims to enhance the collective buying power of small retailers in the face of competition from larger chains. The cooperative serves nearly 450 independent grocers across the Intermountain West, including states such as Utah, Idaho, and Colorado.

AFS operates a large distribution center in Farr West, Utah, spanning over one million square feet, which is being modernized with robotics and automation. The cooperative provides a wide array of grocery and consumer products, including fresh produce, meat, and bakery items, along with wholesale distribution, group advertising, merchandising support, and technology integration. AFS emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and community support in its mission to enrich lives and help its members thrive in a competitive market.
