Zerodha is an Indian brokerage and financial services company founded in August 2010 by brothers Nithin and Nikhil Kamath, based in Bengaluru. It is recognized for pioneering the discount broking model in India, aiming to reduce barriers related to cost, support, and technology for traders and investors. As of mid-2024, Zerodha is the second largest stockbroker in India by active client base, with over 7.5 million active customers and a significant contribution to retail trading volumes on Indian stock exchanges.

The organization provides an online trading platform for trading across various asset classes, including stocks, derivatives, currencies, commodities, mutual funds, and bonds. Its flagship platform, Kite, along with tools like Zerodha Connect and APIs, offers a user-friendly interface for trading. Zerodha launched its own Asset Management Company in 2023, further expanding its offerings to mutual funds.
