Overview

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) is a private, nonprofit organization that supports the University of Wisconsin–Madison through fundraising, alumni engagement, and community building. Established in 2014 from the merger of the UW Foundation and the Wisconsin Alumni Association, WFAA serves as the official fundraising entity for the university and connects alumni and friends to its mission.

Its mission focuses on encouraging philanthropic gifts to UW–Madison and fostering strong relationships among the university, its alumni, donors, and friends. The organization manages donations and grants to support various university priorities, including scholarships, research, and student programs.
