Overview

Valencia College is a public state college located in Orlando, Florida, and is the third-largest member of the Florida College System. Established in 1967, it has evolved from Valencia Junior College to Valencia Community College, and finally to Valencia College in 2010, reflecting its expanded academic offerings, including bachelor's degrees. The college operates multiple campuses across Central Florida, serving over 70,000 students and graduating around 13,000 annually.

The institution offers more than 150 degree and certificate programs in fields such as health care, technology, business, hospitality, culinary arts, criminal justice, and photonics. With a learning-centered approach, Valencia College provides small class sizes for personalized attention and is recognized for its excellence after winning the inaugural Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence in 2011.
