Overview

The University of Wisconsin–River Falls (UWRF) is a public comprehensive university located in River Falls, Wisconsin. Established in 1874, it has a rich history of evolving from a state normal school for teacher training to a key member of the University of Wisconsin System since 1971. UWRF offers over 70 areas of study through three colleges, including programs in agriculture, arts, sciences, and education. It is recognized as the third highest producer of STEM graduates in the UW System.

The campus spans 303 acres and features 106 buildings, including residence halls, lab farms, and the Falcon Center for health and athletics. UWRF promotes a vibrant student life with over 125 clubs, 20 varsity sports, and numerous events throughout the year. The university is committed to student success, with 99% of graduates either employed or pursuing further education. Celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2024, UWRF continues to play a significant role in the local community and beyond.
