Overview

The University of Oregon (UO) is a public research university located in Eugene, Oregon. Established in 1872, it has grown to serve approximately 18,000 students with a wide range of academic programs. UO is dedicated to exceptional teaching, research, and artistic expression, fostering critical thinking and creativity among its community members.

The university comprises several colleges and schools, including the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and School of Law, among others.
