Overview

The University of North Georgia (UNG) is a public university in Georgia, formed in 2013 through the merger of North Georgia College & State University and Gainesville State College. Operating across five campuses — Dahlonega, Gainesville, Oconee, Blue Ridge, and Cumming — it traces its heritage to 1873 and is one of only six senior military colleges in the United States, featuring an established Corps of Cadets program.

UNG provides an array of academic options, including bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist degree programs spanning liberal arts, sciences, business, education, health, and professional fields.
