Overview

The University of Hartford (UHart) is a private, coeducational university located in Connecticut, founded in 1957. Originally created through the merger of the Hartford Art School, Hillyer College, and the Hartt School of Music, it now boasts a 350-acre campus and enrolls approximately 6,000–7,000 students from around 50 countries, making it one of New England’s most diverse institutions.

The university offers a wide range of academic programs through seven schools and colleges, spanning disciplines such as business, performing arts, visual arts, engineering, education, nursing, and liberal arts.
