The University of Denver (DU) is a private research university located in Denver, Colorado, founded in 1864. It is the oldest private university in the Rocky Mountain region and is recognized for its high research activity. The university enrolls around 5,700 undergraduate and 7,200 graduate students on its 125-acre campus, which is also an arboretum.

DU offers a broad spectrum of academic programs across business, law, social sciences, arts, sciences, and engineering.
