Overview

The United Church of God (UCG) is a Christian denomination established in May 1995 by former ministers of the Worldwide Church of God. Formed in the wake of significant doctrinal shifts within the WCG, UCG aims to uphold original teachings and is overseen by a 12-member Council of Elders responsible for doctrinal and organizational leadership.

UCG follows Sabbatarian practices, observing the seventh-day Sabbath and biblical holy days. The church stresses a literal biblical interpretation and holds to beliefs such as baptism by immersion, Old Testament law observance, and a premillennial eschatology. UCG offers religious literature, youth programs, and community assistance, including the publication of Beyond Today magazine, to foster spiritual growth among members and the wider community.
