Overview

UCHealth is a nonprofit health system based in Aurora, Colorado, formed through a joint venture between the University of Colorado Hospital Authority and Poudre Valley Health System. Established in 2012 and rebranded in 2017, it operates 14 acute-care hospitals and serves regions across Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska. The system includes the University of Colorado Hospital, the only adult academic medical center in the area.

Focused on learning, healing, and discovery, UCHealth invests substantially in community benefits, including uncompensated care, and prioritizes patient safety as a High Reliability Organization.
