Overview
The Township of Woodbridge, the oldest continuing township in the State of New Jersey, was settled in 1664 and granted a charter on June 1, 1669 by King Charles of England. Located in central New Jersey, it is known as "The Crossroads of New Jersey", as many of the most traveled roadways bisect the township. The slogan "Ten Towns, One Community" reflects its composition as a collection of ten unique towns forming one community.
