St. Norbert College

Overview

St. Norbert College is a Catholic liberal arts college located in De Pere, Wisconsin. Founded in 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, it is the only institution of higher learning sponsored by the Norbertine order. Originally established to educate young men for the priesthood, the college quickly expanded to include lay students and became coeducational in 1952. Today, it serves a diverse student body of over 2,000 students, focusing on personal, moral, and intellectual development guided by Catholic and Norbertine traditions.

The college offers a wide range of undergraduate programs in liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies, emphasizing a values-based education that integrates faith, learning, and community service.
