Overview

San Juan College is a public community college located in Farmington, New Mexico, dedicated to serving the San Juan County region. Established in 1956, it became an independent institution in 1982. The college is committed to inspiring success through quality education and upholds values such as Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

The college offers over 140 two-year degree and certificate programs in academic and career technical education, serving more than 9,000 students annually through both in-person and online classes. Additionally, workforce training is provided to around 4,000 students, and non-credit community learning classes to 1,800 students each year. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, it operates multiple campuses and education centers throughout the region and has received recognitions including the National Student Chapter of the Year award from the American Indian Science and Engineering Society.
