Overview

RefugePoint is a humanitarian organization established in 2005, dedicated to providing lasting solutions for vulnerable refugees, particularly women, children, and urban refugees. The organization aims to create an inclusive world where all refugees can build stable and thriving lives. Initially focused on providing medical care to HIV-positive refugees in Nairobi, it has expanded its services to address urgent needs through comprehensive programs.

Operating under two main pillars—Self-Reliance and Resettlement—its Urban Refugee Protection Program and the Refugee Self-Reliance Initiative (RSRI) support refugees in achieving independence by offering access to healthcare, education, and financial literacy. RSRI collaborates with over 350 organizations globally, impacting more than 2 million refugees. RefugePoint has assisted over 179,000 refugees in accessing resettlement and legal migration pathways by working closely with the UN Refugee Agency and governments. It is committed to transforming refugee response through innovative partnerships and programs, helping refugees rebuild their lives with dignity and safety.
