Overview

Racker is a nonprofit organization established in 1948, dedicated to providing support and services for individuals with disabilities and their families in Tompkins, Cortland, and Tioga counties in New York. With over 75 years of experience, it serves more than 3,500 people of all ages and abilities, focusing on building connections and fostering fulfilling lives. Guided by a vision of belonging, the organization is committed to personal development and inclusion.

It offers a wide range of programs and services, including residential care with 26 homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, an Early Childhood Program with inclusive classrooms and therapies, and community programs that promote volunteering and self-advocacy. Collaboration with local schools, community groups, and businesses helps foster inclusion and provide essential resources.
