Prince of Songkla University

Overview

Established in 1967 as the first university in southern Thailand, this public autonomous university operates five campuses across Hat Yai, Pattani, Phuket, Trang, and Surat Thani. It encompasses 39 faculties, colleges, and institutes, four hospitals, and more than 40 research centers, serving a broad spectrum of academic, healthcare, and research needs.

The university provides a wide range of academic programs in disciplines such as hospitality, tourism, nursing, and medicine, including 14 international programs at the Phuket campus. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, social responsibility, and community engagement, it actively fosters international cooperation, welcoming students from over 20 countries and collaborating with organizations like the World Health Organization and UNESCO.
