The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) is the largest multi-professional labour union in Canada, representing over 70,000 scientists and professionals primarily in the federal government, as well as some provincial and territorial governments. Established in 1920, PIPSC has been advocating for the rights and interests of public employees since it became the bargaining agent under the Public Service Staff Relations Act in 1967.

PIPSC represents more than 41 professional groups and negotiates with 27 employers across seven jurisdictions. The union's headquarters is located in Ottawa, Ontario, with regional offices in major cities including Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
