Partners Health Management

Overview

Partners Health Management is a public Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO) based in North Carolina. It manages Medicaid, state, and local funds to provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including mental health support, substance use disorder treatment, and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Starting July 1, 2024, it will expand its offerings to include physical health, pharmacy services, and non-medical emergency transportation through the Tailored Plans program.

Operating in 15 counties across central and western North Carolina, the organization serves individuals covered by Medicaid, state health insurance, and those without insurance. It focuses on delivering high-quality, community-centered care tailored to the unique needs of each area and collaborates with local providers and stakeholders to ensure person-centered care and effective health service delivery.
