Overview

The Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) is a regulatory body dedicated to protecting the public interest by ensuring that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Ontario possess the necessary education, skills, and judgment to provide safe and ethical care. Established in 1882, OCP has a rich history in Canadian pharmacy education and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.

The organization’s key functions include the registration and licensing of pharmacy professionals, development and enforcement of practice standards, and the accreditation of pharmacies. OCP promotes ongoing professional competency through a Quality Assurance Program and manages conduct-related complaints to uphold the integrity of the profession.
