Nuffic

Overview

Nuffic is the Dutch organization for internationalization in education, based in The Hague. As an independent, non-profit entity, it promotes and supports international cooperation in education across all levels, including primary, secondary, vocational, higher education, research, and adult education. The organization collaborates with key partners such as the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture & Science, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the European Commission to enhance the global presence of Dutch educational institutions.

It manages various international education programs, facilitating over 32,000 student and staff exchanges annually and processing more than 49,000 credential evaluation requests each year. Nuffic provides expertise, networking platforms, and resources to support educational professionals and decision-makers in their internationalization efforts. It also evaluates foreign diplomas and promotes transparency in education systems, helping international students navigate their study and work opportunities in the Netherlands. The organization is committed to quality and professionalism, emphasizing the role of internationalization in societal growth and addressing global challenges through education.
