The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a quasi-government agency in Uganda, established in 1985. As the largest pension fund in the East African Community, NSSF manages assets totaling approximately US$7.397 billion as of June 2025. It operates under the National Social Security Fund Act and is responsible for collecting, safeguarding, investing, and distributing retirement funds for private sector employees, including staff of Non-Government Organizations.

NSSF offers both mandatory and voluntary pension schemes, providing age, withdrawal, invalidity, and survivor's benefits. The fund has launched products such as the Smartlife Savings Plan and Smartlife Flexi, serving Ugandan citizens, non-Ugandan residents, and refugees. Members can access partial withdrawals at age 45 and flexible withdrawals at age 55. The organization also partners with the Bank of Uganda to promote financial literacy and offers free banking services to its members.
