Overview

Monument Health is a comprehensive healthcare system based in Rapid City, South Dakota, serving western South Dakota and eastern Wyoming. As the largest healthcare provider in the region, it offers care across 31 medical specialties to over 428,000 people in more than 20 communities. The system includes five hospitals, eight specialty and surgical centers, and over 40 medical clinics.

The range of services includes cancer care, heart and vascular treatment, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, pediatrics, behavioral health, audiology, and diagnostic imaging. Rapid City Hospital is a level two trauma center with a busy emergency department, treating more than 50,000 patients annually. Membership in the Mayo Clinic Care Network enables physicians to collaborate with Mayo Clinic specialists and enhance the quality of patient care. Monument Health is also dedicated to community-based healthcare, professional development for staff, and improving healthcare access and outcomes for vulnerable populations through participation in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program.
