Masa Israel Journey

Overview

Masa Israel Journey is a nonprofit organization based in Jerusalem and New York, established in 2004 as a collaboration between the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Israeli government. It empowers young Jewish adults aged 18–30 through immersive, long-term experiences in Israel, fostering personal growth, professional development, and leadership skills, while strengthening connections to Jewish identity.

The organization offers a diverse range of programs including gap years, study abroad, internships, volunteer opportunities, and teaching fellowships. It provides support with program placement, universal grants and scholarships, and organizes community and leadership events. Since its inception, more than 120,000 young people from over 60 countries have engaged with Masa, reflecting its commitment to global outreach and building a vibrant Jewish community.
