Jemicy School

Overview

Located in Owings Mills, Maryland, Jemicy School was founded in 1973 and is recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in education for bright, college-bound students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. The school's individualized, flexible, and challenging curriculum equips students in grades 1 through 12 with tools for mastering reading, written expression, spelling, and organization.

Through innovative, multisensory, research-based programs and strategies, Jemicy School fosters academic and higher order thinking skills, while encouraging each child’s strengths and unique learning profiles. The school operates two campuses within Owings Mills, providing grade-specific environments for Lower, Middle, and Upper School programs.
