General Motors de México (GM de México) is the Mexican subsidiary of General Motors, established in 1935. It is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in Mexico and plays a significant role in the Latin American automotive sector. The company began with an assembly plant in Mexico City and has expanded to multiple facilities, including plants in Toluca, Ramos Arizpe, Silao, and San Luis Potosí.

GM de México manufactures a diverse range of vehicles for both domestic and international markets, including passenger cars, pickup trucks, and propulsion systems. Vehicles are produced under several brands, such as Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. With investments in modern manufacturing infrastructure, GM de México has produced over 15 million vehicles and nearly 30 million engines, positioning itself as the largest automobile manufacturer and top vehicle exporter in Mexico since 2018.
