Overview

Fastned B.V. is a Netherlands-based company founded in 2012, focused on building and operating fast-charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) across Europe. Headquartered in Amsterdam, it aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility by providing a reliable network of charging stations powered exclusively by green electricity from wind and solar sources. The company operates as a publicly listed entity on Euronext Amsterdam.

Since opening its first station in 2013, Fastned has expanded significantly and, as of 2023, operates over 290 stations across Europe, with more than 165 in the Netherlands. Its mission is to establish a pan-European network of 1,000 fast-charging stations at strategic locations like highways and urban areas. Stations offer charging capabilities up to 350 kW, enabling drivers to add up to 300 km of range in just 15 minutes, supporting the growing EV market with fast, accessible charging solutions.
