F&I Sentinel is a compliance solutions provider dedicated to the automotive finance industry. Founded in 2018 by attorneys Stephen McDaniel and Matt Nowels, the company focuses on navigating the complex regulatory landscape surrounding finance and insurance (F&I) products. Their mission is to protect consumer interests while enabling auto finance companies, dealers, and product companies to operate within a compliant ecosystem.

The company offers the CITADEL® Platform, a cloud-native compliance management tool used by 16 auto lenders, including six of the top 10 in the U.S. This platform features over 112,000 F&I products and provides rules-based workflows to streamline the origination process.
