Overview

Donna Independent School District is a public school district based in Donna, Texas. In addition to the city of Donna, the district also serves portions of Alamo as well as the communities of Muniz, Scissors, and South Alamo.

In 2010, the district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. It supports 14 elementary campuses, 4 middle schools, and two high schools, under the leadership of Superintendent Roberto Loredo.
