The DFWHC Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1968, dedicated to promoting safe, high-quality, and accessible healthcare in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The Foundation operates alongside the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, which supports over 90 member hospitals.

It manages initiatives such as the Public Health Website and the Community Partnerships Initiative, and it enhances workforce recruitment and training. The Foundation also facilitates collaboration among regional hospitals to improve patient safety and care coordination.
