Overview

Thailand's oldest and most prestigious public autonomous research university, established in 1917 and located in Bangkok. It began in 1899 as a school for royal pages and civil servants and evolved into a national university to promote modern education. The university focuses on academic excellence, professional education, and research development, aiming to equip students with the skills needed for Thailand's modernization and global competitiveness.

It features a large urban campus and serves over 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
