Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC)

Overview

The Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC) serves 50 school districts and four BOCES across eight counties in the central region of New York State. It provides a wide array of technology services through three major components: Instructional Technologies, Student/Data Services, and Network Operations. Services range from professional development for technology integration and student management systems, to planning and management of network infrastructure equipment.

The CNYRIC maintains a substantial fiber-based wide area network (WAN) that spans the region, delivering high-speed connectivity to nearly all of its customers. The organization is focused on supporting technology integration, data management, and secure network operations for educational institutions.
