Founded in 2016 and based in San Francisco, California, with additional offices in Denver and Washington, D.C., it is the first U.S. company to offer commercial SAR imagery to the market.

The fleet of SAR satellites provides high-resolution Earth observation data, capable of 24/7 monitoring in all weather conditions. With the ability to capture imagery at sub-0.25 meter resolution and revisit key regions in under three hours, Capella Space supports applications such as intelligence and defense, insurance, maritime monitoring, disaster response, supply chain tracking, and environmental conservation.
