The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) is located in Cape Town, South Africa. Established on January 1, 2005, through the merger of the Cape Technikon and Peninsula Technikon, it is the only university of technology in the Western Cape and the largest in the region, serving over 32,000 students. CPUT has a rich history dating back to 1920.

The university comprises six faculties: Applied Science, Business and Management Sciences, Education, Informatics and Design, Engineering and the Built Environment, and Health and Wellness Sciences. CPUT offers nearly 100 career-focused courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Technology.
