Overview

Boğaziçi University is a prominent public research university located in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1863 as Robert College, it became Boğaziçi University in 1971, continuing a legacy of educational excellence with English as the primary language of instruction. The university offers a wide array of academic programs across seven faculties, two schools, and seven graduate institutes, serving around 16,500 students at various academic levels.

The main campus, known as the South Campus, is situated on the scenic European side of the Bosphorus Strait and features historic buildings, modern research facilities, and extensive library resources.
