Overview

Edgewood University is a Catholic liberal arts institution located on Lake Wingra in Madison, Wisconsin. Founded in 1881, it has evolved from a boarding school for girls to a four-year university, achieving university status in 2025. Sponsored by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, the university is committed to building a just and compassionate world through its supportive and inclusive community.

The institution offers about 60 majors and numerous minors divided across two schools: the Henry Predolin School of Nursing, Business, and Health Sciences, and the School of Liberal Arts, Education, and the Sciences.
