The Student Chapter of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology at Penn State ranks among the largest and most active student chapters nationwide. Members are students in the Design and Technology Program within the Penn State School of Theatre, representing disciplines such as lighting, sound, scenic design, costume design, technical direction, and stage management.

The chapter fosters a vibrant community where students network, teach, and contribute to the arts community. It serves as a hub for collaboration and professional development in theatre technology and design.
