TriCore Reference Laboratories is an independent, not-for-profit clinical laboratory based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in 1998 through a collaboration between Presbyterian Healthcare Services and the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, TriCore focuses on enhancing healthcare through laboratory science, education, and research.

The laboratory offers a comprehensive range of testing services, from routine to specialized tests, supported by over 30 pathologists and scientific directors. TriCore operates a Six Sigma-certified facility, ensuring timely and accurate results that aid clinicians in making informed decisions. It also emphasizes population health management and data analytics to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. With more than 40 patient care centers in New Mexico, TriCore engages in innovative research through its TriCore Research Institute, utilizing clinical laboratory intelligence to address healthcare needs. The organization actively collaborates with healthcare providers to deliver actionable clinical knowledge, with recent initiatives such as MyTriCore, a direct-to-consumer testing service, and enhanced logistics partnerships for specimen delivery.
