The Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) of NIT Mizoram is a vital department dedicated to enhancing the professional development and career progression of students. These activities build both soft skills and technical knowledge.

The T&P Cell oversees final placement processes, career counseling, and skill development. It collaborates with companies for campus recruitment drives, boasting an 86% placement rate with recruiters such as Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, and IBM. In addition to placements, the cell prioritizes internships, reporting 100% completion in the 2023–24 academic year at organizations like Google and Microsoft. Its commitment lies in equipping students for successful careers.
