Overview

SRT Communications is the largest telecommunications cooperative in North Dakota, founded in 1951 and based in Minot. The organization began with a mission to provide telephone service to rural communities and has since expanded to offer a wide range of technology services catering to both rural and urban customers. Operated as a cooperative, members benefit from patronage capital credits and are represented by a twelve-member Board of Directors.

With a focus on bridging the digital divide, SRT Communications delivers high-speed Internet via fiber optic and copper cable networks to more than 48,000 customers. Its services also include home and business security solutions, emergency response systems, landline telephone services, business communication systems, and Dish Network satellite television. SRT is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and economic opportunities in North Dakota’s rural and small-town communities through equitable access to advanced telecommunications.
