Founded in 1999 by Mr. Baima Duoji, a documentary filmmaker born in Shangri-La, Songtsam currently operates 18 unique properties that focus on authenticity, refined design, modern amenities, and unobtrusive service. Transportation via the world's first-and-only Land Rover Defender commercial motorcade is key to travel for guests, complemented by immersive regional guides. Over the past quarter century, the portfolio has expanded to include hotels, travel agencies, car rentals, trade, agriculture, and cultural publishing.
