Overview

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1987 by Steve Mariotti. It focuses on providing entrepreneurship education to young people, particularly those in low-income and underserved communities. NFTE’s mission is to empower students with vital business, academic, and life skills, enabling them to take charge of their futures.

Headquartered in New York City, the organization operates in 25 U.S. states and 14 countries and has reached nearly 2 million students since its inception. NFTE’s programs offer experiential learning for middle and high school students, college students, and adults, delivered through in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Its key offerings include teacher training, business plan competitions, and intensive summer BizCamps®. NFTE collaborates with universities and community organizations to expand equitable access to entrepreneurship education.
