Indiana University Health (IU Health) is a nonprofit integrated healthcare system located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1997 through the merger of three hospitals, it offers a wide range of healthcare services, including acute, nonacute, tertiary, and quaternary care. The flagship IU Health Methodist Hospital has a notable history, including being the site of the nation’s first heart transplant at a private hospital.
