Excel London

Overview

Excel London is a leading international exhibition and convention centre located in the Royal Docks area of East London. Since its opening in November 2000, it has become one of Europe’s largest venues, hosting around 400 events each year and welcoming approximately four million visitors from around the globe. The venue features two large, column-free exhibition halls, multiple function rooms, and London’s first International Convention Centre.

The centre accommodates a wide variety of events, including major medical congresses, trade shows, sporting spectacles, and large-scale conferences. It played a significant role in London’s regeneration, hosting events during the 2012 Olympics and serving as a temporary hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Excel London is committed to sustainability as the first UK venue certified carbon neutral and aims for net zero emissions by 2045. The venue generates substantial economic impact, contributing approximately £4.6 billion to the local economy and supporting around 37,500 jobs in the events industry.
