Officially known as Centenary Rural Development Bank Limited, this is a prominent commercial microfinance bank in Uganda, established in 1983 and beginning operations in 1985. Licensed as a full-service commercial bank in 1993, it has grown to be the nationβs largest indigenous bank, with an asset base of approximately UGX 4.7 trillion and more than 2.4 million customers.
